About Us
SMYRNA/CLAYTON LITTLE LASS LEAGUE, INC.
OUR PLAYERS ARE #1 WITH US!
Little Lass League players are the number one priority of the league's officers, managers and coaches. The complex is a place where they can come, have fun, play the game of fastpitch softball and be in a safe, secure environment. Our officers are involved in every aspect of the league's operation and oversee the complex with diligence. This is OUR PARK and we work hard to maintain it in top condition. During the playing season, the Town of Smyrna Police make routine passes through the park. The American Legion Ambulance is less than three minutes away should there be an injury requiring their services (they even sponsor a team!).
The SCLL has an excellent working relationship with the Towns of Smyrna and Clayton, as well as the Smyrna Clayton Little League and the local school district. The league is a non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. In addition, the towns of Smyrna and Clayton make donations to the league. During the course of the year, players participate in several fund raisers that include an Opening Day Raffle & 50/50's through the season. Through these donations and fund raisers, the monies to operate the organization with a $15,000 + annual budget are raised. Every expenditure is monitored to ensure YOUR DAUGHTER receives only the best. SCLL's sign-up fees are also the lowest in the region thanks to this policy!
If you and your daughter think this is the program for her, watch the local papers and for posters in the schools for our sign-up dates. Remember, ever girl that signs up is placed on a team, regardless of her playing skills or abilities. SCLL DOES NOT CUT ANY PROSPECTIVE PLAYER. We also want you involved. The league meets throughout the year the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Off season (September through April) we meet at the Smyrna High School at 6:30 PM; during the season we meet at the SCLL Complex at 8:00 PM.
